step 1: warm-up
1. introduction: allow me to introduce myself .my name is …,you can call me “mr jin.”this semester i teach you english .i hope we could get along well with each other .first ,let’s say “hello !”
2. greetings: hello! hi ! good morning/good afternoon
3 sing the song: good morning
step 2 presentation and practice
1. ask and answer:
t:“what’s your name”s: my name is ……(one by one)
2. learn to say:
a: there is a different way to answer “what’s your name”
it is“i’m……”
b: work in pairs .
c: check .
3. listen
a: listen to the tape, then tell me the names appear
b: the student answer
c: “liu tao david mike yang ling david mike”
d: according to the student, pronounce the words“david mike david mike”
4. act
let the students to act as“david mike david mike”
using the sentence “what’s your name” “i’m……”
step 3 consolidation
1. listen to the tape again
2. to read follow the tape
3. homework (read after the tape)
